Fix Lincoln's Streets Now

Lincoln is a growing, vibrant city. Our transportation system is key to economic development, public safety and our quality of life. With growth comes the wear and tear of our city streets, which desperately need fixing.

Recently, the Lincoln City Council voted six to one to place a question on the April 9 City Primary Election ballot asking Lincoln voters whether to approve a quarter-cent increase (1/4%) of the sales tax over the next six years. If approved, improvement of Lincoln’s streets will begin immediately.

Across the city, businesses and neighborhood leaders, Republicans and Democrats, and residents from different walks of life have come together to support this historic opportunity to move our city forward towards a stronger future.

With your help, we can improve our neighborhoods and lead our region in business, new jobs, and research and development — but we need the streets to get there.
